Texas Humane Heroes

A strategic planning project was held concurrent with the onboarding of a new Executive Director. It helped create a new organizational structure, address volunteer and event issues, and establish planning processes for expansion. THH is a no-kill, private nonprofit that supports communities throughout the entire state of Texas by bringing dogs and cats into their program from overcrowded shelters that are often forced to euthanize them.

Helped two separate organizations (Hutto Has Heart and Hutto Food Pantry) with similar goals and constituencies combine to form one nonprofit organization under a new brand. The process created a more cohesive purpose with an integrated board, allowing for greater impact for the local area. HRC is dedicated to providing resources that improve the well-being of individuals in the community and help them in their daily lives.

Pflugerville Education Foundation

Pflugerville Education Foundation

Facilitator for two strategic planning processes over 5 years that addressed some major organizational issues and helped the group establish and implement solid goals. PEF is a nonprofit that raises money to provide resources for students and teachers in the Pflugerville ISD.

Provided strategic planning for a nonprofit at a critical juncture, allowing them to move forward into a new phase with paid staff and ambitious goals. Horse Empowered Learning Programs, Inc. (H.E.L.P.) provides Central Texas clients with disabilities an opportunity to develop life-long skills that increase their personal strength, independence, and confidence.

Professional Women of Williamson County

Professional Women of Williamson County

PWOW is a regional nonprofit organization of women business professionals who support each other through education, mentoring, networking, and providing scholarships. We guided them through a strategic planning process that helped them create more structure, find technology solutions that consolidated several functions, and established goals that allowed them to expand their services and reach.

We facilitated a strategic planning process that allowed for a complete reorganization of how the group was structured, provided for new initiatives, and set goals to move to a more expanded vision. APRA is an international professional association of development research and information management professionals.

Association of Women Surgeons

Association of Women Surgeons / AWS Foundation

AWS is one of the largest international organizations dedicated to enhancing the interaction and exchange of information between women surgeons, and our relationship with this group began in 2002. Their initial strategic planning session dealt with organizational and fundraising issues for the association and its foundation. We worked with them for over five years to implement strategies that resulted from the session.

Beginning in 2008, 501(c)onsulting has provided support for this professional association's chapter that serves a 10-county region through strategic planning retreats, creation of a multi-tiered scholarship program, along with website design and event registration guidance.

We served as a facilitator for a strategic planning session that addressed organizational structure, events, communications, and membership growth. NEDRA is the New England Chapter of APRA International, with members representing fundraising professionals throughout the United States and Canada.

Two strategic planning sessions were held over 3 years, establishing baseline organizational goals and processes. APRA-MO (now APRA-MO/KAN) serves professionals in Missouri and Kansas as a chapter of APRA International.

We facilitated two strategic planning sessions over 3 years that helped create a new organizational structure and planning processes for this regional chapter of APRA International, serving the states of Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. The chapter has since split into separate groups covering smaller areas.

California Advancement Researchers Association

California Advancement Researchers Association (CARA)

We provided a strategic planning process that addressed major organizational and personality issues that had hindered the association, allowing them to find common goals that helped them move forward. CARA is the largest single state chapter of APRA International.
